The Falk Plumbing Supply Quote Process

At Falk Plumbing Supply, we want our customers to have as easy and as enjoyable a time as possible while working with us on selecting their plumbing fixtures. We have a simple and informative process which we’ll outline below.

The First Meeting: Visiting a Showroom

First it is always best to set up an appointment with one of our sales professionals, especially if you are driving a significant distance to see us. Customers with appointments receive priority but all customers are extremely important to us. You could stop by one of our showrooms or give us a call to set up a convenient time to meet with you.

If you have a copy of your house plans it would be helpful to bring them along, especially when we are looking at the size of spaces for items such as tubs. Even if you do not have a printed copy, you can forward a PDF of them if you have it. We want to make sure we have all the appropriate information to prevent us from suggesting an item that might not fit.

We normally estimate your appointment length to be around 1- 2 hours for a 2.5 bathroom house up to 3 hours or more for larger projects (4-6 bathrooms plus kitchen and other areas like the pantry). Use those figures as a guideline based on how quickly you make decisions. Your project could end up with multiple appointments in the showroom and lead to further email, phone and text conversations. We will do what it takes to give you understandable information for your project.

Email Follow Up

After we have finalized your selections, we will put together some presentations to make sure you have a firm grasp on your plumbing items. We will assemble a line-item quote showing individual prices for you. Unfortunately, this presentation is nothing but numbers and letters indicating your models and their prices.

To really bring a visual to all that data, we create a SpecBook for you. This PDF document will have pictures and model numbers for all the items you chose. Paired with the quote you will have prices, model numbers and pictures. If needed, we can also configure our SpecBook to show technical drawings on all of your selections.

Usually, we will continue to communicate via email while finalizing selections with the SpecBook as our central source. Of course, if you feel more comfortable sitting face to face during the process we can certainly accommodate that. We want to help make this process easier for you, not more difficult.

Confirming Styles and Finalizing Your Order

As the final decisions come together, we’ll want you to confirm your order. As other things, you can do it via email or face to face with us. Depending on how you are handling the construction process you may be required to provide us with a deposit for your order. We will go over our return process with you, which is also outlined in your Spec Book. The most important part is that for non-stock items we do have a 30% restock fee.

Finally, we’ll attach your signed approval to your order and save it in our system. We will do everything on our end to get your special order items ordered and your stock items committed and put back for you.
