I had some nice customers today. They were building a new house, but they did not have a set of plans. They did not know who their plumber was. They had no priorities or purpose for their visit to the showroom. I am sure they felt frustrated. We want to help you avoid or defeat frustration. Just a few steps of preparation can make the process much simpler and your visit more productive.
- Call ahead before visiting the showroom. While everybody is welcome at any time during business hours, customers with appointments get exclusive time and the full attention of a sales pro. We want to prepare for your visit and make you feel special because customers are our honored guests. We even have a consultation form you can fill out on this website if that is easier.
- Bring a set of your house plans. House plans are key in determining size for showers or tubs. They can also identify the drain side for a tub and help us to get your fixture count right. They might help tell if a particular kitchen sink, bathroom sink or laundry sink will fit in the cabinet space shown. We can function without a house plan, but we might need you to call your contractor or plumber to get the aforementioned information. We want to make it as easy as possible for you.
- Know your plumber. This is usually who we talk to the most. Just by knowing who they are, we already know about preferences and style. Your plumber determines what type of pipe to run which also affects the basic valves for faucets. They have the answers for all things plumbing on your job and we may have questions for them during your showroom appointment.
- Know your budget. We want to help you stay inside your budget so it is helpful if you have a figure in mind when you stop by. Some builders use a basic package of fixtures. If you want to change them, we can figure the upcharges for you there as well.
- Bring in your dreams. During the building process, collect pictures with cut-outs or from places like Pinterest. They create a palette of your imagination and help us see what sort of styles, colors and finishes appeal to you. We definitely want to help your dreams come true.
- Bring your companions. We are a dog-friendly showroom and we like having your furry pals around. Also, kids are more than welcome. The showroom is full of breakable items but keeping your lovely little folks close should solve any care there. If you want to bring your aunt, your sister or your mother-in-law please do. Sometimes you need that team to help you make decisions.
Being prepared with a handful of items can make your showroom visit fun and educational. We are here to help you, not sell you, and with the right tools we can help you push through all of those intimidating bath and kitchen decisions. We look forward to seeing you soon!
